An isoflavone called Biochanin-1 extracted from red clover, acts at the base of the hair follicle by inhibiting the synthesis of 5-alpha-reductase, a molecule that causes the conversion of testosterone into DHT. DHT shortens the growth cycle of the eyelashes.
Tetrapeptide 3 stimulates the production of anchoring proteins (Laminin and type-III and VII collagen) in order to improve eyelash staying power.
White pearl, which is rich in trace elements, amino acids and cell proteins, is incorporated to provide long-term brightening of the skin around the eye area.
Soft focus agents provide an immediate brightening effect.
