How to use

- Coco-Caprylate/Caprate is a naturally derived extra light emollient that absorbs and spreads quickly leaving a soft and powdery after-feel on skin. It creates an invisible and ultra-silky film that provides long-term moisturization.
- Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) is a self-tanning agent that helps achieve a natural and healthy-looking tan in just a few hours. DHA reacts with amino acids found on the skin’s epidermal layer to produce pigments called melanoidins (similar to naturally occurring melanins – pigments formed in natural tanning). Beauté Pacifique uses a uniquely stabilized version of DHA which significantly reduces the formation of degradations products and thereby eliminating the unpleasant odour usually associated with self-tanning products.
- Erythrulose is a self-tanning agent similar to DHA. The reaction of erythrulose with skin is slow and gentle, which makes it possible to produce a natural, long lasting, even tan without streaks. Erythrulose ensures a longer lasting tan and optimizes the efficacy of DHA by enhancing the colour to give a natural, homogeneous and glowing skin tone.
- Acetyl Hexapeptid-1 is a peptide which stimulates the skin to produce more of the natural colouring melanin pigmentation similar to the skin’s natural defence against the sun. The skin will therefore achieve a healthy-looking tanned skin glow. The skin will furthermore be protected from sun damages as the peptide also stimulates DNA repair and anti-inflammatory actions. The prevention of these harmful actions will inhibit sun-induced aging while achieving an attractive tan.
- Saccharide Isomerate is a 100% naturally derived plant extract that mimics the natural hydration process, boosting the skin’s moisture retention capabilities, and protecting the skin against dehydration and sensitivity. It binds deep within the outer layers of skin, meaning hydration continues long after application.
