From 23 to 25 October 2025, the Dermatology, Aesthetics & Surgery International League (DASIL) will host the 13th DASIL World Congress in Cape Town, South Africa. Held at the Century City Conference Centre, this three-day meeting brings together more than 1,000 delegates and 180 expert speakers. The programme offers high-value clinical education, practical workshops, abstract presentations, and opportunities to explore post-congress tours.

Why Cape Town?

Twelve years have passed since DASIL last met in South Africa – back then in Sun City – and bringing the congress back to Cape Town reflects both a return home and a milestone in global dermatology education. 

Cape Town is celebrated for its vibrant culture and natural landscapes, offering a fitting backdrop for an event that combines scientific rigour with collegial collaboration.

What to expect

Hosted at the Century City Conference Centre, the congress will feature more than 180 speakers and over 40 industry partners. The scientific programme includes:

Clinical lectures and interactive sessions spanning medical dermatology, aesthetic procedures and dermatologic surgery.
Abstract presentations and plenary talks from global thought leaders.
Dedicated sessions exploring emerging technologies, complication management, pigmentary disorders, hair loss, scars, and skin of colour.
Specialised focus areas such as dermatosurgery, injectables, photodynamic therapy, and laser innovations, as well as a full track on nail disorders, paediatric dermatology, immunodermatology and dermoscopy.

LIVE CLINICAL SESSIONS

NEW at DASIL! A treatment room will be provided to industry partners in which they can showcase their devices or products in live demonstration settings to the audience. The treatment room will be set up in the industry exhibition.

During these “LIVE CLINICAL SESSIONS” (non- and minimally invasive), there will be no other parallel sessions in the lecture rooms to ensure maximum exposure for the industry in front of a broad audience.
