The DNA SKIN TEST recognises unique genetic internal aging factors that contribute significantly to the skin’s appearance, the status quo. ‘status quo’ is the current condition of the skin defined according to defined parameters using a grading system defined by optiphi^®.

The skin is not a static expression of genetic predispositions, and what is seen on the skin is a combination of extrinsic and intrinsic factors.

Results are all processed according to our patented MSC Code™ system. This allows you to develop more personalized interventional treatment plans and aesthetic procedures such as dermal fillers and Botulinum Toxin injections, thread-lifting, chemical peels and surgery.

Health

The DNA HEALTH TEST offers exclusive insight into genetic variations which have been associated with various health risks and concerns. Information obtained from this test will enable you to make valuable changes to your patients’ diet, supplement and lifestyle behaviours to minimize these health risks in the long term. Additional recommendations are given for certain tests that can confirm patient health risks.

Diet

The DNA DIET TEST offers a unique approach to understanding the nutritional needs of your patient, as well as the role genetics play in response to physical exercise. Major dietary considerations can be individually validated through this test as well as sensitivities to certain foods. Additionally, the amount of exercise and how your patient will respond to these exercises are investigated.

The process is easy:

Collect DNA sample by means of a non-invasive cheek swab, using a cotton bud.
The DNA sample and completed consent form are delivered to the laboratory for gene variation analysis.
The skin, health and diet reports are compiled and sent to you.
