Most women in the world worry more about their appearance and always want to look perfect. Standing tall, feeling confident and believing in yourself – these are all important ways to feel your best. But as any woman who’s ever stood in front of a mirror can tell you, beauty secrets and tips count too.
While how we look may be only one part of who we are, it is still a part of us. And a feeling that you look your best can be a real confidence booster. Looking your best doesn’t have to be complicated. Experts say most of us only need to pay attention to a few basic beauty secrets – essentials that can help you look and feel great without spending a lot of time or money.
Here are five health and beauty tips that will also improve your health as well as appearance ensuring that you look like Miss South Africa daily – ‘treat yourself right, from the inside out.
Neda Roodaki, a beauty and healing expert, who is a qualified practitioner in South Africa, has this to say:
Tip 1 – Control Stress level
It is very important to keep your stress levels balanced and never let the negative stress take control of you and your body. There are many stress relief techniques that one can do to lessen stress. “Don’t worry about things that are not in your control”
Tip 2 – Beauty Sleep
If you are sleep deprived it shows physically and mentally. Getting an ample amount of sleep (8 hours plus) can assist you in feeling fresh and ready to conquer the challenges ahead.
Tip 3 – A good diet
Our bodies rely on what we put into it. A good and BALANCED diet will keep your body healthy and not to mention your mind. A good diet will also assist you in feeling energetic and reduce health factors later on in life. “Success is the sum of small efforts—repeated day-in and day-out.”
Tip 4 – Exercise
For our bodies to be balanced, I believe an exercise routine is very important. There is no perfect routine and people should do what they enjoy to gain the full benefits of exercise. Exercise gives you more energy and keeps you in shape. But new research from McMaster University suggests that endurance exercise might help fight, and even reverse, the signs of aging, such as balding, grey hair and thinning skin.
Tip 5 – Embrace a fuller Microbladed brow
One of the biggest beauty mistakes is to go wild with the tweezers-too-thin brows (think Pamela Anderson) but it can age you. And compensating with makeup is never as good as having full natural microbladed brows, concludes Neda, who is also the proud sponsor of Miss South Africa Beauty Pageant for Microblading all the 16 contestants for the 2019 competition taking place on 09 August 2019.
