What is Fernblock®?

How do I know I can trust the technology?

The project, focused on developing a complete sun protection mechanism, discovered that the extract could prevent the immediate damage of sunburn while also helping to protect the skin from the effects of long-term sun exposure, including DNA damage, skin ageing, loss of defences and sun allergies. The result is the HELIOCARE range of sun protection products.
How does Fernblock® work?
While the sun’s negative effects on the skin are the most obvious in the form of sunburn, even with limited exposure, solar radiation over time can have a negative cumulative effect on the skin that manifests in signs of premature ageing such as wrinkles, dark spots and loss of elasticity, or even health problems like skin cancer.
This is because our skin has an important defence system against external aggressions that is negatively affected by the sun. Increased sun exposure increases our vulnerability, but new clinical data shows that HELIOCARE topical sunscreen, which includes sun filters and Fernblock®, gives your skin a significant advantage over sunscreens that contain sun filters only.
But is there more that we can do to protect and repair skin against the damaging effects of solar radiation? The answer is undoubtedly, yes.
Fernblock® technology in capsule form can be used to fortify the skin against sun damage from the inside.
When used along with topical sunscreens, a high content of Fernblock® with vitamins C, E, lutein and lycopene, can increase the skin’s resistance to the sun from the first capsule as well as neutralise and repair sun damage.
