The Cell-Detoxium range from Diego dalla Palma Professional is built around one central idea: supporting the skin’s natural detoxification processes to preserve radiance, resilience and cellular longevity. At the heart of the range is a targeted detoxifying complex designed to help neutralise environmental stress, optimise cellular metabolism and strengthen the skin’s defence systems against daily aggressors.
The concept combines gentle purification, antioxidant protection and barrier support across cleansing, treatment and SPF steps, creating a routine that focuses on maintaining skin vitality over time. I recently incorporated several of the Cell-Detoxium products into my daily regimen and share below how each one performed, how I used them, and where they fit within a structured home routine.
Make-Up Cleansing Butter (R685 – 125ml)
This was, without hesitation, my favourite.
Used as the first step in a double cleanse in the evenings, the Cleansing Butter melts into the skin, dissolving sunscreen, tinted SPF, foundation and daily build-up with ease. Its balm-to-oil texture feels luxurious but not heavy, and it emulsifies beautifully when water is added.
For me, it created the perfect first cleanse in the evenings, dissolving sunscreen and makeup thoroughly while keeping the skin comfortable. Depending on the day, I would either follow with a second cleanser or adjust my routine slightly based on how my skin felt.
| ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: |
| • KARITE BUTTER and MACADAMIA OIL: emollient and nourishing, they help remove even waterproof and long-lasting makeup. • BISABOLOLOL: soothing and protective. • VITAMIN E: antioxidant and protective. |
Micellar Cleansing Milk (R685 – 250ml)
Although not part of my daily routine, the Micellar Cleansing Milk became a flexible addition within my cleansing steps.
If I had worn heavier makeup or felt there was any residual product left after using the Cleansing Butter, I would apply the Micellar Cleansing Milk as an additional refining step. It lifted remaining traces of foundation or sunscreen without feeling harsh or over-cleansing.
On evenings when I did not use the balm, this became my first step in removing makeup. I would then follow with the Detoxifying Cleansing Mousse or, on certain days, one of the weekly exfoliation treatments such as the Enzymatic Scrub or Texturising Mask.
The texture is creamy yet lightweight, formulated to cleanse while respecting the skin barrier. Micellar technology works by attracting and lifting impurities without aggressive surfactants, making it suitable for maintaining comfort while ensuring thorough removal of debris and pollutants. It felt soothing rather than stripping, and integrated easily into whichever cleansing combination I chose that day.

Cleansing Mousse (R685 – 150ml)
Light, airy and genuinely enjoyable to use, the Cleansing Mousse surprised me. Some foaming cleansers can leave skin tight, but this one left my skin smooth, fresh and comfortable.
It is designed to gently purify while supporting cellular detoxification. The formula contains antioxidant and anti-pollution actives that help neutralise environmental stressors, making it particularly relevant for those exposed to urban pollution, sunscreen layering and long makeup days.
I would use this either as the second step after the butter or micellar cleanser in the evening, or on its own in the mornings after gym sessions.

Tonic (R685 – 250ml)
Applied with a light cotton pad straight after cleansing, the Tonic acts as a prep step.
Rather than being an astringent toner, it feels balancing and refining. It helps remove any residual cleanser while restoring the skin’s pH and enhancing penetration of subsequent products.
Its detoxifying complex supports cellular longevity and antioxidant defence, which aligns with the Cell Detoxium concept of supporting skin resilience against oxidative stress.
It is a simple step, but one that makes the rest of the routine feel more intentional.

Detoxifying Booster Serum (R1475 – 50ml)
This was the standout.
In the evenings, after toning, I applied the Booster Serum and found that I did not need a moisturiser over it. That alone speaks to its hydration performance.
The texture is light, absorbs beautifully and does not leave any stickiness. It moisturised my skin comfortably while delivering active ingredients aimed at combating oxidative stress, supporting collagen integrity and improving overall luminosity.
The formula is built around longevity science, targeting cellular detox pathways and defending against environmental aggressors. It contains antioxidant complexes and anti-pollution actives designed to strengthen skin resilience and improve visible vitality.
For my skin, it felt hydrating enough to stand alone at night.

Daily Protective Fluid SPF50 PA++++ (R1150 – 50ml)
This is where practicality meets science.
In the mornings, I would either rinse my face with water or, after a gym session, gently cleanse with the mousse, apply toner, the Booster Serum, and then the Daily Protective Fluid SPF 50.
The fluid has a subtle pink tinge, which interestingly helped neutralise mild redness. It blended beautifully into my skin and felt moisturising rather than drying. I apply SPF generously, and while I did notice a slight white cast at heavier application levels, it settled well once blended.
It layered seamlessly over the Booster Serum and under a light BB cream or foundation. There was no pilling and no heaviness.
Beyond sun protection, it includes anti-oxidative and anti-pollution ingredients designed to defend against photoageing and environmental stress, making it more than a standard sunscreen.

Enzymatic Scrub (R795 – 75ml) and Texturizing Face Mask (R750 – 75ml)
These are the only two products not yet finished, simply because I alternate them once weekly.
The Enzymatic Scrub provides gentle exfoliation using enzymatic activity and mechanical action, helping to dissolve dead skin cells and promote smoother texture.
The Texturizing Mask offers a refining effect, improving skin clarity and radiance. Used alternately, they prevent congestion while maintaining skin comfort.
Both complement the detox philosophy of the line by encouraging cellular renewal without disrupting the barrier.

Overall Thoughts After Four Months
The products are easy to use and layer beautifully together. The scent is delightful without being overpowering — lightly citrus-leaning and fresh.
For a professional-grade home care range that integrates seamlessly into daily life, the pricing represents an investment. However, for someone committed to a structured skincare routine, it feels within reach and justified by both formulation quality and user experience.
This was not a dramatic, aggressive transformation type of range. Instead, it felt intelligent, protective and strengthening — focused on longevity, resilience and daily environmental defence.
And sometimes, that is exactly what the skin needs.
