Komona Govender has been in the medical aesthetic industry for over 14 years. After studying and qualifying as a Somatologist with an ITEC qualification, and then working abroad, Komona returned to SA to focus on training and education in the medical aesthetic industry. Having worked as a medical sales rep and Key accounts manager for premium aesthetic skincare brands, she then joined a dermatology and aesthetic clinic for 5 years. Thereafter opening her own aesthetic clinic based in Glenvista and Sandton. Komona’s absolute passion is client care and going the extra mile. Her constant studying and research led to a focus on alternative treatments.
In March 2023 Komona opened up AryaVedic, a first-of-its-kind skin clinic in South Africa, pioneering the integration of Ayurvedic wisdom in modern skincare and aesthetics.
Combining both holistic treatment and aesthetic treatment has always been a focus and she looks forward to reaching new heights whilst still continuing her passion for training and education.
