Dr Alastair Clark
Dr Alastair Clark trains other doctors in South Africa in the art and science of aesthetic injection techniques and designs and delivers courses in this discipline. He is an executive committee member of the Anti-aging and Aesthetic Medicine Society of Southern Africa (AAMSSA).
Having practised as a family physician for 25 years and then moving to full-time aesthetic practice, Dr Clark was installed in October 2007 as one of twenty international Global Trainers to give instruction to doctors internationally. He is the only South African to have achieved this.
International Expertise
He designs and delivers courses in the disciplines of filler volumisation, neuromuscular manipulation with botulinum neurotoxin, IPL and laser, chemical peels, as well as physical treatments of the skin. Dr Clark has presented and given live demonstrations at numerous international congresses in Europe, Asia and South Africa. He is currently the Head National Key Opinion Leader for Teosyal Fillers from Teoxane, Geneva; Dysport botulinum toxin from Ipsen; Silhouette Soft thread lifts of Sinclair Laboratories. He also served as International Key Opinion Leader and Trainer for Restylane. His interpretation of the aesthetic need and facial assessment, combined with advanced injection and moulding techniques yield previously unattained results for non-surgical techniques.
Dr Clark has developed an approach to static (hypertonic) and dynamic (hyperkinetic) wrinkles, which greatly simplifies the use of toxin and fillers to achieve the patient’s desired goal. He uses his technique to treat anything from inexpensive lines and wrinkles to Lip enhancement, Nasoplasty (nose), Cheek bone augmentation, Eyebrow ridge augmentation, Chin and jaw revision, Ear lobe rejuvenation, or complete facial treatments.
Dr Clark practised as a general practitioner for 30 years and previously in surgery and surgical specialities for three years. He was a Consultant to the South African Brain Research Institute during this time. He appeared numerous times on television and on radio phone in programmes and has published a number of journal articles on alcoholism and detoxification.

Samantha joined SAI in October 2015. She qualified with a National & International Diploma in Health & Skin Care Therapy in 2011 from Camelot International. She has worked with one of South Africa’s most recognized Plastic Surgeons and has worked in the Aesthetics industry for 5 years. She is experienced in working with Palomar, Dermapen, Microdermabrasion, Velashape3, and Neostrata. Her passion lies in laser therapy and skincare.

Tracy qualified as a therapist at Camelot International Health and Skin Care. She has worked in the aesthetics industry for over 9 years and has worked for leading aesthetic clinics. She has a special interest in all aesthetic treatments however has a passion for Dermapen.
