This gentle non-drying cleanser removes make-up, dirt and oil while brightening and refreshing dull, lacklustre skin.

This pearlescent, creamy cleanser develops plush foam to deep clean and reveal naturally radiant skin and is powered by 6% NeoGlucosamine, known to exfoliate skin’s surface, targeting dark spots that can cause the skin to appear uneven and dull.

How to apply

This multi-action serum targets skin discolouration and uneven skin tone. Contains NeoGlucosamine, a gentle exfoliator known to help fade the appearance of existing skin discolourations. This formula includes 4% Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) and a blend of Vitamin C, B-Resorcinol and Licorice Extract to help promote a brighter and more even skin tone.

How to use

Our thoughts:

I used this daily in the morning for four weeks and applied a moisturiser then SPF over it. While my pigmentation has been gradually reducing, I found the serum pills (makes those little balls) when applying certain moisturisers or sunscreens over it. To overcome this, I either moved to only using it in the evening, OR I found that using one particular brand of SPF (the La Roche-Posay Invisible Fluid SPF 50) over it resulted in no pilling.

How to use

Our thoughts:

This product has retinol in it, which is why I applied it in the evening only. My skin is used to retinol, so I didn’t experience any sensitivity and was able to start using it every evening. If you are new to retinol, then it’s advised to slowly integrate this into your routine. For example – use 2X a week for two weeks, use 3X a week for two weeks etc. until graduating to nightly use.

If I were applying the Illuminating Serum at night, then I’d alternate nightly with these two products.
