The oxygen facial boost
I was invited to experience the non-invasive Intraceuticals Oxygen Facial, which is highly recommended for giving your skin a lovely boost with the added benefit of no downtime. Walking into Dr P Aesthetic Lifestyle Centre is like surrounding yourself with luxury – a beautiful ambience where you can relax and enjoy being pampered.
My gorgeous somatologist, Jeneva, cleansed my skin thoroughly and explained that as we age, we naturally produce less collagen. This is accompanied by a decrease in blood supply, and the delivery of essential nutrients and oxygen needed for cell regeneration declines. Environmental factors like sun exposure and pollution add to the deterioration of the skin cells. By increasing oxygen supply, cellular growth is encouraged, and collagen production is improved.
A solution for every skin
Jeneva used a special applicator (which looks like a miniature hose) to deliver oxygen to the skin – it feels quite cold but not uncomfortable. This was done in combination with a specific “Rejuvenate” serum, which contains vitamins and antioxidants to tone and hydrate the skin.
There is a treatment for everyone, depending on what you’d like to achieve – whether it’s controlling breakouts, redness, or stressed skin or achieving a lovely, brighter skin tone and stimulating your collagen and elastin production.
The end result is glowing, radiant skin – perfect before your next big event!
The Intraceuticals Oxygen Facial can be integrated with peels, needling, or laser. But on its own, the treatment gave me smooth, hydrated skin within half an hour.
