At Dr Riekie Medical Aesthetic Centre, the team is excited to introduce a first-of-its-kind procedure: the Ellacor® non-surgical solution, which is specifically designed to address mid-to-lower face sagging, wrinkles, and excess skin. This state-of-the-art procedure is completed in just about 30 minutes, offering a swift and effective procedure for those seeking aesthetic enhancements.
How Ellacor® works
Ellacor® employs Micro-Coring® technology, utilising hollow needles to precisely remove micro-cores of skin. This innovative method improves the appearance of moderate to severe wrinkles in the mid to lower face without any visible scarring. The procedure is performed in-office, ensuring convenience and less downtime.
Step-by-step process
- Step 1: Anaesthesia is administered to ensure patient comfort.
- Step 2: Hollow needles penetrate and remove up to 8% of the skin.
- Step 3: The body’s natural healing response is triggered, allowing the skin to quickly realign and close the cores.
- Step 4: Patients experience improved skin architecture with natural-looking results.
Indications
The Ellacor® system is suitable for adults aged 22 years or older with Fitzpatrick skin types I–IV. It is specifically designed to treat moderate and severe wrinkles in the mid and lower face. This treatment must be performed by trained medical professionals to ensure safety and efficacy.
