On Thursday, 18 July 2019, The Cosmetic and Dental Emporium (CDE) in Bryanston hosted select media, influencers and VIP guests at a Christmas In July event whereby the team revealed a variety of state of the art treatments that are on offer at the practice. The event included an insightful industry talk and live demonstration sessions with aesthetics professional Dr Carmen Wilsenach.
The Cosmetic and Dental Emporium (CDE), offers aesthetics and dentistry, passionately serving patients since the establishment of the first CDE branch in 2010 at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town. Since then the brand has grown from strength to strength, with over 20 multi-disciplinary practitioners in six practices across the country, with its newest branches situated in Bryanston and Menlyn.
“The CDE boutique practices supply luxury finishes designed for comfort and ease to ensure that every experience is a pleasant one,” explains co-founder of CDE Bryanston, Dr Carmen Wilsenach.
Keeping with the festive spirit, guests enjoyed surprise gifts, bubbly and canapes while gaining insight into the world of facial aesthetics and cosmetic dentistry. Guests were introduced to luxury products such as NADplus, Aqua Gold, Proactive Liquid Collagen and Biomedical Emporium followed by exclusive demonstrations including:
OPALESCENCE TEETH WHITENING
The Cosmetic and Dental Emporium’s whitening service is both easy and non-invasive, and can remove years of stain and colour from your teeth in a single, one-hour treatment. One of the teeth whitening treatments within the practice is the Opalescence Teeth Whitening that is formulated to prevent dehydration and shade relapse.
Opalescence Teeth Whitening rebuilds enamel and adds a luster and a youthful sparkle to your teeth. The whitening gel contains PF (potassium nitrate and fluoride), which helps maintain the health of enamel throughout the whitening process. Results can be seen in as little as 7 days and one can easily maintain the whiteness or improve on the shade by applying the trays for a longer duration.
THREAD LIFT
Threading is a less invasive/non-surgical alternative to a surgical face lift. As time passes, gravity contributes towards sagging, drooping and wrinkling of skin. Many people find this aesthetically unappealing and desire to look youthful again by re-tightening the skin. With Threading, the results are subtle and natural – the procedure is ten times simpler and after the implementation of the threads, the skin experiences an increase in the production of natural collagen.
Not only can threads be used to lift the face, but aesthetically alter the face in other ways as well. From lifting the eye brows, cheeks and neck, to threads placed in the nose to straighten or lift it, to threads made for the lips to bring in volume. With this new advancement in the industry patients have so many more options to look younger and be happier in their own skin.
LIP FILLERS
Fillers are used to plump up the skin in various places adding volume where collagen and natural volume has been lost. Over the years various filler treatments have aimed to replace this volume, but none as predictably and as safe as Hyaluronic Acid (HA).
Hyaluronic Acid is a natural carbohydrate produced by our skin, which is why it is so well tolerated and accepted. Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers are for both young and the older individual’s lips – lending its incredible properties to revitalise and rejuvenate. Each Dermal Filler is uniquely designed to meet a specific treatment objective as discussed with a qualified aesthetic doctor matching the perfect product to an individual’s need.
In addition to the above treatments, CDE Bryanston also offers procedures such as: Reconstructive Dentistry, Orthodontics, Cosmetic Dentistry and Facial Aesthetics.
