AMWC Southeast Asia returns to Bangkok from 26–28 November 2026, bringing together aesthetic medicine, dermatology, plastic surgery, longevity and regenerative medicine for three days of scientific education and professional exchange. The 2026 congress will explore international developments alongside the clinical priorities and perspectives of practitioners across Asia. Taking place in Bangkok, Thailand, AMWC Southeast Asia forms part of the Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress series, which has hosted medical aesthetic congresses around the world for more than two decades.
The 2026 edition takes place under the theme “Aesthetic & Longevity Medicine 2030: The Next Starts Now”, reflecting a programme that increasingly brings aesthetic medicine and longevity together within a more integrated approach to patient care.
A Global Congress with a Southeast Asian Perspective
AMWC Southeast Asia brings international expertise into conversation with the clinical approaches, patient needs and rapidly developing aesthetic medicine landscape of Asia.
The scientific programme is built through a collaboration between the Dermatological Society of Thailand (DST) and IM-Aesthetics, with scientific content supervised by the Aesthetic Multispecialty Society (AMS). An anti-ageing and longevity component is also presented in partnership with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M).
This combination gives delegates the opportunity to consider global developments in aesthetic & longevity medicine while exploring how these can be applied within different patient populations and clinical environments.
The congress is aimed at aesthetic medical professionals including dermatologists, plastic surgeons, aesthetic practitioners and other professionals working within the aesthetics industry.
What to Expect at AMWC Southeast Asia 2026
The 2026 programme has been shaped in part by delegate feedback, and submitted proposals are subjected to scientific review, with an emphasis on clinically relevant education.
Across the congress, topics span many of the areas currently shaping aesthetic and longevity medicine, including injectables, regenerative aesthetics, energy-based devices and lasers, pigmentation, acne and scarring, hair restoration, body contouring and skin tightening, minimally invasive procedures, complications management, cosmeceuticals and combined treatment approaches.
The scientific scope also extends beyond aesthetic procedures into anti-ageing, integrative wellness, innovation and technology, as well as practice management.
A key feature is the meeting of aesthetics and longevity. The scientific committee describes the programme as bringing together different disciplines, modalities and perspectives to support increasingly personalised patient care, including an “East Meets West” longevity track powered by A4M, exploring anti-ageing and regenerative medicine.
Practical Learning and International Expertise
Alongside scientific presentations, AMWC Southeast Asia incorporates practical education through live demonstrations, workshops and hands-on learning opportunities.
The congress programme spans multiple tracks, allowing delegates to explore different areas according to their field of practice and professional interests.
The 2026 scientific committee is led by the Dermatological Society of Thailand President Dr Jinda Rojanamatin together with International Scientific Directors Dr Heidi Waldorf, Dr Jack Kolenda and Dr Joan Vandeputte. The wider committee brings together doctors working across aesthetic dermatology, plastic surgery and anti-ageing medicine.

Education is accompanied by a commercial exhibition, giving delegates an opportunity to engage with companies and technologies from across the medical aesthetics sector.
AMWC Southeast Asia reports an expected audience of around 1,500 attendees, with more than 100 leading brands represented and delegates drawn from over 50 countries.
For practitioners travelling from South Africa and elsewhere internationally, the congress therefore provides not only a scientific programme but an opportunity to connect with a broader network of doctors, industry professionals and companies operating across the Asian and international aesthetic markets.
Post-Congress Education
The main conference takes place on 26 and 27 November 2026, followed by post-congress education on 28 November.
Two post-congress courses are currently available: Integrated Aesthetics 360°, focused on integrated aesthetic treatment planning, and Clinical Longevity Medicine. The post-congress courses take place at Rajavithi Hospital in Bangkok.
